Teamwork

The children have been showing their developing friendships out in the garden. They worked together to transport the lentils and spiders, negotiating and collaborating the directions to go. Spontaneous experiences such as these really cement children’s relationships. The importance of non-verbal communication is vital here as we make meaning by pointing and directing our bodies in certain directions. Even the cross over of hands shows they are comfortable in each other’s presence, with others being close. It really is such a pleasure to watch friendships evolve.
