Sorting

Sorting is something that children are drawn to especially in the early years. It allows them to arrange and organise items in their heads. It also opens the gateway into mathematical concepts and attributes, something which supports life long learning. By sorting, children understand that things are alike and different as well as that they can belong and be organized into certain groups.
