We have all had a few busy weeks lately and our bodies may be feeling the strains of it. This weekend focus on recouping and relaxing, our bodies need it and so too does our mental health.

Children just like adults need downtime too. It allows them to reset and regroup. Being a child with all the physical exertion they use to learn and explore, but also all the emotional regulation they endure, leaves them tired and sometimes exhausted. Downtime i.e a chance to do nothing but relax allows the body and mind to unwind and destress, aiding resilience.

Why not have a lazy morning, a movie night, some cloud gazing out in the garden/park, breakfast in bed or a little pamper session ( face cloths on faces) this weekend. Allow all our bodies and minds to completely relax!!
